Summary: This property was very quiet, close to Kalakmal and close to Becan ruins. We took a tour to Kalakmal from the property. The property was clean and very affordable.

Summary: Everything is lovely about this location, the staff, the food, the location, the suite itself. The only minor thing to keep in mind will be the fact that there will be bugs crawling around the area, since you are in the middle of the jungle. They give you a bug spray but it doesn't keep them away for long. Not a complaint at all, just a note for people with bug phobia to keep in mind. Otherwise I will definitely go back. Also please note that Calakmul is current closed on Monday's, so if thats the purpose of you trip. Keep it in mind.

Summary: Casa Kaan is amazing, a truly relaxing and peaceful oasis and perfect access to Calakmul and other activities in the area. Our house was clean and comfortable and their restaurant is excellent as well. So glad we stayed here instead of chaotic Xpujil, highly recommend!!

Summary: Nice clean cabanas, lovely forest surrounding. Great staff, very helpful. Second visit here this time restaurant not as good and found bathroom very small. Signs for lodge nonexistant if heading west

Summary: Absolutely wonderful!! We saw so many birds in the property, and the access to Calakmul and the surrounding biosphere was fantastic. Restaurant was great, rooms were sparklingly clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended! Bring long sleeves and pants and insect repellent if you are there in the rainy season - mosquitoes were horrendous, but that is to be expected in the jungle.

Summary: We loved our stay at Casa Kaan! It's very quiet with quite a bit of distance between each cabin. Ours had a porch with comfy chairs and a hammock. We had a full kitchen and the bedroom and living room was very comfortable and spacious. It was an easy walk down to the office/restaurant which served a delicious breakfast and dinners. The staff was very friendly and informative as to the various sites in the area. We will definitely be back!
